Elly has an innate sense of style and a distinctive eye for design that filters down through her whole life (from her interior designs to her Instagram feed!). She turned up to the shoot in her vintage Mercedes with a cute basket bag full of beautiful things sitting on the front seat, so I was really excited to shoot her for this project.

I knew I wanted to do the shoot indoors because it makes sense (considering Elly's line of work) and she was instrumental in the styling of the shoot too - I love a woman who knows what she wants and what works for her. The shoot took place in an intriguing little space tucked-away behind Oxford Street in Darlinghurst called Muse. The owner of the space's name is Elly too. She has styled it so beautifully - there are so many different little pockets to shoot in. Most of the furniture is reclaimed vintage, there's a giant disco ball and also a commissioned Lister on the wall (in Elly's bedroom)!
